Digitizing Outdated Media
There are many reasons to digitize items, but no matter the reason, it is priceless to have your memories converted to a digital format that can be shared and enjoyed.
- Outdated media: You may have home movies, or slides sitting in boxes that are holding your treasured memories hostage. It is so great to have a family movie night watching your own home movies, or displaying a slideshow of favourite photos when you have guests over.
- Safe keeping: Forest fires, floods, tornadoes and hurricanes are all disasters that can destroy our treasured memories. Even a house fire, broken pipe or dishwasher flood, can be devastating. No amount of insurance can replace the loss of these memories. Digitizing them and keeping them safe in cloud storage or a backup drive located in another location is the best insurance for your photos.
- Downsizing: You may be downsizing and just don’t have space to keep bulky photo albums and scrapbooks, boxes of photos and bins of video tapes, but you still want to be able to enjoy your memories.
- Inheritance: Maybe you’ve inherited your grandmothers photos and you want to curate your families history and share with other family scattered around the country.
